Yes, this is basically just Rise of the TMNT, but with Power Ranger characters.

So, what? It's sounds freaking awesome.

Here's the pitch:

The Rangers start off as normal teens (Tommy's here from the start). But, instead of the Rangers getting their power coins first, it's Tommy who finds his power coin first. He becomes a Ranger and keeps it as an identity (like Spider-Man). Through the first couple episodes, the others not only find out about his identity, but also get their Ranger suits themselves. There's also a 7th guy who would basically be the White Ranger, and there's a whole lot of new lore in this show separated from the OG MMPR.

There's also stuff like Goldar being MUCH larger (like a half a medium sized building tall) and being a little more feral, Rito being there from the start and having a sort of rivalry with Zach and Billy, and Alpha still being the same, but when you put on his "action" mode via a switch, he turns into this super skilled and competent fighter who can solo all the Rangers in combat. Characters like Rita, Zordon, Bulk, and Skull are still pretty much the same. Also, Zeltrax from Dino Thunder is here as a version who travels back in time to meet and fight the original, non-experienced Tommy Oliver and would become a main stay (and destroying Tommy in every fight they have).

Tommy will be pronounced the leader early on in the team's run, which would make Jason mad because he doesn't see Tommy as skilled as a leader should be (Tommy's sort of like Deku character wise). They would end up having a fight that would put their combat skills, strength, and strategy to the test.

Stories like Green With Evil would be in here but would have major changes.

And, finally, it would all end with a season about an invasion by Lord Zedd, who would come down and be the scariest, most badass version he has ever been. Absolutely destroying the Rangers in a fight with no difficulty, taking their coins and destroying them, absorbing most of the coins' power (whatever power was left was given back to the Rangers), destroying a Zordon who can turn into a mech thanks to Billy, killing him and destroying the base, summoning the Megazords (classic, Dragonzord, and Tigerzord) and turning them against the Rangers, and finally ruling Earth. Alpha and the Rangers would look around to try and find anything that could get them a chance at defeating Zedd. After a while, they find some ancient artifacts (Zeo Crystals) that give them a bit of the power of the power coins. They use that to fight their way to Zedd, but after loosing them, pull a Rise of the TMNT and get their powers back through their will and hope (and thanks to the power left in the artifacts). They fight Zedd, destroy his staff, gain their full power back, and finally destroy him by blasting him with the Power Cannon, saving Earth once and for all.
