Not much is known about the dark, brooding figure that is Sunkiss. His childhood was fairly happy, with two loving parents who doted on his every desire, and he showed great potential in terms of magical ability and even impressed the royal sisters, standing out in Celestia's school of magic. But somewhere during his time studying as Twilight Sparkle's special student did his intentions turn awry. In a fit of anger following an unknown event in his life, he became pessimistic and secluded, studying dark magic alone in his chamber. Despite everyone's desperate plea to turn himself back onto the path of friendship, there is seemingly no hope for someone too far into the darkness.
