Description
This is the final product of the ARN skull ring!!!!! ARN is a shortend version of Aaron, a real good friend of mine now in California. I made this ring for him because I had not seen him in over 10 years. This is the big brother ring to my smaller skull and iron cross pinky ring. I do not remember the number of skulls around the ring, but like the smaller ring they do go all the way around the ring as all good designed rings should, because rings turn on your finger so this way you always see the designs.I would like to do a line of these with the same simple skull style design (big dreams - little money and time).
This ring was featured on Artisan Crafts club site [link] the week of October 18 - 24 2009!!!!!

Are these available for purchase? I could easily show up in person and buy them. I have family in Dallas, most of my family is from there.

Unfortunatly I have no way to cast something like this right now. I could carve it, but I would have no way to cast it. A friend of mine had all the equipment set up at his house untill he moved. He is now staying in a travel trailer until he gets his house built and puts his jewelry studio back in. But I will let people know when I am able to start casting again, lots of people want this ring!

Took a couple of weeks to carve the wax, but it was not nonstop.

Sorry, did not know what you were talking about. I am not sure yet, as it stands now not for awhile. I can hand saw stuff but I can not get stuff cast.

Well I do it as a hobby when I have the money and the time. Not as much smithing as carving wax and getting it cast. A little filling, sanding, and polishing, not to much hammering or soldering. Thanks again for looking!

Thanks for the comment. I like your paintings, dark in a very bright way.

I forgot, the blackend background is just a simple black enamel. This ring is also a one of a kind, not another exactly like it in the world, unless some one is a copy cat!?!
