Description
The light filtered into her eyes, over processed through the faceted glass. It blocked her thoughts, her eyesight. Her throat was choked with it.Straw fell across the soft "it's just like leather!β too dull with emotions to reflect even a particle of the light.
She could feel him, pressing hard against the small of her back. Urgent, yet restrained. Not that he was a gentleman. Perhaps he had to pee.
He shifted his weight, and the pressing became more insistent.
But she wasn't here to think about that.
The light filtered through another piece of glass, blocking another set of eyes, thoughts. Choking another slender white throat.
Silk fell across the cherry taffeta on her shoulders, sunlight refracted by its "fresh, multifaceted colour!" A burst of wind would lift it off her shoulders every now and then, turning it on her like hundreds of tiny whips.
That same wind carried the scent of sun-roasted crab, salted sand, aquatic plant life throwing its last pleading wafts into the melee.
Power surged beneath her legs as she pumped the pedal. The exhilaration brought a smile to her salmon-pink lips.
He was squirming behind her, now, a restless pantomime of Parisian love.
Matted grease fell across her slanted cheekbone, closed her nose with malodourous decaying tomato.
Her body instinctively turned away, sliding his slick strands from her face.
The car was a newer model, shiny with dreams and fresh paint. She was young.
Shining grey coils of asphalt slithered away beneath the fresh rubber tracks, and laughter creased her eyes.
With hard rock blasting through the sound system, she navigated twist after twist, sunlight sparkling from her blue-tinted fashionable shades.
He breathed in her ear, hot and humid. His tongue slipped snakelike into winding tunnels of her auricle.
The sun beat down upon them, lighting their skin with rays of gold and warming the upholstery.
His arm was thrown casually across her thin shoulders, and his laughter competed with the engineβs powerful roars. Long strands of dark hair tangled with hers in the billowing wind.
As he loomed above her, the tangled dark mass brushed across the bridge of her nose, caught at the tiny hairs of her eyebrows and lashes. She gazed unseeingly into his unshaven visage.
His eyes were dancing, merry. She beamed at him, offering his full lips a quick, sweet kiss. He accepted.
Full lips pressed upon hers roughly, forcing her mouth open, teeth clicking together. The pressure on her arms was intense as he dragged his hands along the soft skin, the bruised flesh. He removed his mouth from hers, tore at the delicate skin on her bicep with no gentleness.
The man tenderly traced the veins in her arms with the pads of his fingers. His teeth nipped at her upper arm. She laughed, concentrating on the road. He whispered in her ear, massaging the nape of her neck.
Harsh words were brusquely delivered by his rancid mouth. His hand closed about her throat.
The sunlight ceased to filter through her eyes. It no longer choked her thoughts, her throat.
She pressed the pedal and sped off.
