Description
(Deciding which category this belonged in was a bit of a challenge...).An assignment from the Color Theory class I took this past summer. The assignment was to illustrate the four uses of color in nature, in this example: mimicry (the remaining three uses of color in nature being warning, attraction and camouflage).
The subject is my former rabbit Colby as a Dalmatian. It is a dog's world, which is a tough place to be a bunny. Making himself look like a dog is the best way for him to survive.
This piece is small, about 4"x7" and was made with Prismacolor markers. This was the first time I really used Prismacolors. They are pretty impressive, but I barely feel like I have scratched the surface of knowing how to use them.
