After the post I read to "all my friends" this morning I really had to sit with the message. How many times are we reminded how quickly the people we love can be wiped off the earth canvas and still after the passing of time entrain to the rythms of our daily tasks, yet again to the point which we continually need to be reminded to express ourselves IN the moment.
I saw Erica coming down the stairs just a few days ago and for a moment I admired this condition you're referring to as "what would prove to be the best condition of her life..." I was noticing this of course, not for the first time ............... I thought to myself, and I'm not making this up --- that, "I need to tell her how beautiful her quads are." Because as she was coming down I was going up and her rectus femoris was just REARING at me from eye level. I saw her all the time and exchanged a smile and hello with her almost daily. But, I didn't get to tell her in person how beautiful she was and how much I admired her tenacity, intensity and devotion to her fitness and her class! It might be silly to post this here on an art site, but these are the thoughts and feelings that are moving through me now. I slapped on my headphones today and stomped around the track like a madwoman and let my mind go to "where is Erica?"
My knees didn't act up once today.

I've come to realize that thoughts and feelings from you is art. Not silly at all.
I spoke with Erica on Friday about coming over to the house so we could go through the pictures and pick the ones she liked best so I could work on them. When I showed this one to her a month ago, she started to cry because she had never seen herself in such a way. On friday I told her how proud I was of her for maintaining her condition for so long and she said it was, in large part because of that photo.
It is now my own quest to do the same thing for as many people as possible. Show them thier own beauty in ways they might not have known before. Kind of like my personal training style.

SOBBING again. I resonate with your feelings completely in regards to wanting to be able to capture beauty of the physical manifestation & of course, spirit, (human or otherwise) behind the camera. I see it all the time....... it helps that I also share some of the same talent and OBVIOUSLY interest 
I am glad that the first photo of Erica that you shared with her inspired her to maintain such all her potential in it's physical form!!!!!!!!! BRAVO, kindred friend.
I am glad you have found such love behind the camera. You're going to be so amazing in a couple years.... just wait, mark my words as you read them now. You're going to look back on these first works and have a plethora of feelings come over you when you see your progress and where you came from in your art.

Incredible legs and glutes... very nice picture romantic with all the delicate colors and the pose, and of course terribly sexy and powerfulwith her strong body! Why missed? Hope she is alright...

This was a dear friend who was tragically taken from us this past weekend in a senseless accident. She honered me by letting me photograph her in what would prove to be the best condition of her life.

ok... sorry for so much delay here in my comments. I would suggest you use the patch tool and healing tool to clone out that really saturated orange across hern hip/lower back. But, if this is something that you appreciated in the end just ignore me. If you're not adept with the patch tool yet, get with it--- as well as the cloning stamp and healing tool. They are total lifesavers.
