Description
This is a great look at the ancient times before Allasia was formed into Allasia and it was ruled by tyrant "First Lords" and "First Queens" then only known as Lords and Queens. Each one ruled the entire continent with their own selfish goals. Before the founding of the seven kingdoms with the fall of the last "First Queen" none dared stand up to the powerful monarch tyrants. They were considered in place as demigods and all of Allasia suffered under each and every one of the thirteen dynasties. The only ones in ancient times to stand up to the Tyrant First Lords and Queens were the Rivans, perhaps the oldest race on Allasia. None truly know where they came from, or when they first took a stand against the early day First Lords and Queens, but they were the only ones who were able to stand toe to toe with even the most powerful of them.
Riva, the great castle, was unable to be reached due to a powerful barrier despite all the efforts by the First Lords and Queens. The Rivans suffered greatly for defying those who believed themselves gods, but they won several great victories that eventually inspired the seven kingdoms to form and stand up to the once thought invincible First Lords and Queens and led in the end to a final overthrow and the creation of Rhodesia, Scarletta, Aquitaine, Gandria, Garrett Alesia, Sevensia, and Almalexia.
One of those victories was when one of the First Queens captured a young Rivan and planned a public slaying of her. It backfired when the Queen, releasing the Rivan from her prison to mock and taunt her the night before the execution, and was stabbed by the Rivan who had been offered a weapon from the Queen's personal chef whose daughter had been executed for "looking at the Queen wrong."
So yea, old picture I commissioned from the amazingly talented Nyah-kun
Wanted to repost it cause it is actually very relevant to my current "the Darkest Night" story.
