Amber brought the sword down, when Clara suddenly caught the blade in her bare hand."What?" Amber exclaimed. Clara stood up, facing Amber.
"What's funny is, that word... loser," Clara said, she clenched her hand around the blade bending the blade as her expression changed. "You don't even know the meaning of the word, lose. I flunked out of college, I was deemed a failure by my teachers and my dad. I lost my virginity to a street punk asshole, I was deemed a whore by my friends. I lost my friends, I was deemed a pathetic loser. Don't you dare compare losing a fight, to losing at life." She then punched Amber in the face, resulting in a great thunderclap. Amber was launched across the room and into a wall, cracking the surface. Dropping to the ground.

Clara (stops dead in her tracks, her mouth hanging open): I... (she closed her mouth, and managed to walk toward the cake, hanging her head) You... didn't have to.

Clara (sniffs, and wipes her hand across her eye): No... I. (she then slowly sat down) Its too much.

Su Li: (sits next to her) what do you mean?

Clara: It's just like with him... my dad. He was weird, he loved music like me, but he was never too keen on the idea of me going out there and playing. Said I needed a real job. (sighs) Anyway, my first show I asked him to come, he said he'd try to make it. I never saw him at the show.

Su Li: sigh I understand!
(I thought about bringing Clara’s father into the picture but I didn’t want to do that with out your say so I just feel he needs to know about her because no child should be without there father believe me I know

(Well, she has her father, its her mother she never new.)
Clara: It hurt, and I hated him so much. I didn't speak to him when I got home. He then walked up to me and dared to hug me. I wanted to slap him so bad, he then told me to close my eyes. When I opened them, there he was standing there, smiling, holding a small box. He handed it to me and told me to open it. (she then held out her locket) It was this. Said to me, "Gratulationes angelus meus." Put he put it around me neck telling me how proud he was of me. It was then I learned that he did come to my show, he just hung in the back. Said he didn't want me to feel the pressure of him watching. I finally broke, crying there in his arms. I felt so foolish for hating him. He always worked so hard everyday, two jobs, and he still found the time to come. And there I was, angry because he didn't come to the front row.
(Yeah, she just has one of those, yeah her father is tough or down at times, but at the same time Clara secretly knew that he loved her. One of those relationships)

(Yeah, once again Clara is definitely one of my best and favorite characters. I just put so much work into her character. I had so many tragic characters that were villains, Lilith, Piper, Calamity, even Viper and Talia were villains for a time. Clara is one of my tragic heroes, she's had so much shit in her life, and could've very well gone down the wrong path. But she proved herself to be a hero.)
Clara (slowly rests her arm around Su Li): Thank you.
