I'm 8 months pregnant here with my daughter. This photo was taken by a friend of mine [link] and retouched by me.Originally, I posted only a few photos from this pregnancy series, but now I'm going back and picking a few other favorites. I hope you don't mind.
This was actually the most comfortable I was the entire shoot! LOL! I think I wanted to go to sleep! We shot a few where I was looking at the camera, and they came out fabulous, ONLY, it was very sultry, like "here I am, all pregnant and feeling sexy, don't you want me?" and I didn't feel it suited the mood I wanted for the photos of private moments between me and my daughter, so I didn't use any of them for my final prints. I actually only chose one shot where I'm actually looking at the camera, and that one is going to be submitted later this week....

I love the image, but I don't like the position..."I" feel squashed...haha.
It is rather lovely though. I would have picked something else though, I can't imagine being comfortable on the tummy on what looks like a firm surface...now maybe something soft and cushey.

I'm actually on my side, with the baby resting fully on the ground. It's truly INCREDIBLY comfortable. I was on a mass of red satin on carpet. Very, very comfortable. I almost fell asleep. It's comfortable for the baby, too, because by that time, they can't move around much inside (too big) and this allows them to rest on a different side, instead of always on the downward part of the stomach. No organs are in the way; very comfortable. It's how I slept each night.

I was not so lucky. With all 3 of mine, I had to sleep with my baby belly propped up. Sleeping on a waterbed allowed me to sleep toward sleeping on my tummy, and early on before I was showing I could sleep on my tummy, but other than that it was uncomfortable.

I think my daughter was just so huge that she just flopped on over with no propping. I remember, early on, before she was big, that I did need a pillow under the belly, but later, I know I didn't need anything.
I never, ever, felt comfortable on my belly from practically Day One of pregnancy (though once, in a blissful moment, I was on my belly in an innertube, with my belly in the hole and it felt fantastic). I could barely manage to have a waistband touch my belly, it just felt awful.

I'm with you on stuff touching the belly. IN fact, it was several years before I could stand anything on my belly button at all. The hubby changed that

An 18 year old?!?! I can't even imagine that far ahead. Wow. Again, all my respect!!
I tried to get my bb pierced once, but turns out I have a partial outy (outie?) and they don't recommend piercing it as it won't be likely to heal. My guy (who did my nose) told me some piercers would just take my money and do it, but that he wouldn't feel ethical doing it. I thanked him and called it a day.
Now, I AM due for another tattoo!!

Oh, tattoos are a whole nother story. I just got one at the beginning of tis month and hope to get another Perhaps next week some time. Yummy!

That's Beautiful! ^.^ But why are you wearing makeup? The whole setting is so natural and the makeup seems like its stealing something from it on the artistic level. Then again I should probably shut up, i've never taken any artistic photos. It's very beautiful

LOL! Probably because I always, always wear makeup. I just plain feel better in it. I don't know any other reason than that. Honestly, I never once considered NOT wearing it.
And it's OK for you to say that! Everyone has their opinions about what's beautiful and I respect yours!!
