Outgoing, vivacious and here for a good time, Allegra's love for all things beautiful led to her becoming enamored with the voice of a busker who often sang by the piers at Starlight Marina by night time and she disregarded her own safety at times to swim up close to the lady to admire them up close. Her presence didn't go unnoticed as the busker befriended her and taught her to sing as well, the two of them performing for bypassers who would trade in a little spare cash for their time but it was honestly the singing both of them enjoyed.
Despite this, she knew her friend aspired to greater things---every now and then, the outdoor stage at the Marina would light up and a group of young girls would perform though it was for an adoring crowd rather than pedestrians. The two of them would watch these shows where she picked up all the names of the performers and took a particular liking to the youngest talent, Ayako and their Alolan Vulpix, 'Yuki Chan'.
As the laws on panhandling and illegal busking at the piers were tightened to misdemeanors however, Allegra and the busker's friendship fell into jeopardy as they were taken in and separated from one another and the joyful little seal was shuttled off to a shelter after hurried goodbyes as her friend wrapped a costume pearl necklace around her neck so they could find each other later.

Later never came as she waited in the shelters to be picked up by the friend as days passed into weeks passed into months. She would sing their songs as she waited, trying to keep hope alive that the next person who passed through those doors would be her friend and one day someone did pass those doors who made her leap right up, but it wasn't her friend---it was Yuki-Chan from the Idol performances! All grown up, still fabulous and in person!
Her despair couldn't dampen her excitement about seeing her idol up close and the two of them immediately struck up a conversation. Avalon (apparently Yuki-Chan's name had changed and they were no longer with Ayako, but a tall and hairy man who did not look at home on the stage) took a liking to her and offered to help get her out of the shelter to which Rhames, the hairy man agreed to so she could friend her friend.

To her surprise and dejection, their extensive search for the busker through word of mouth and records revealed that the streetside singer didn't have a national ID and was deported back to their homeland shortly after they were taken in by the police---that she only knew of their first name made it all the more harder to track them down.
Sensing her loneliness, Avalon offered for her to come and live with them and become their student; to keep alive her friend's dreams from better days and it was an offer she couldn't say no to.
She chose her name, Allegra and since then became part of the Allardyce household.

Idolizes former Idol Star Avalon as a mentor much to the Ninetales' delight and consternation as Allie is at that age where all she sees are stars and none of the issues behind them and less delightfully, occasionally accidentally slips into refering to Ava in the fox's old stagename of Yuki-Chan.
