Description
This comic was one of those challenges. I'd never done weird lighting with the scribble style that I use for Same Apartment (and practically all the other pictures here). Would it stand up to the test? Would it just look all blobby with now discernable light source? Do the characters stand out or is everybody doomed to sit in a mess of indirect fuzzy mishmash? To you dear reader I'll leave that judgement to make.By the way, see if you can get the references here. There are some nice references.

it's still there, but there's nothing but spam entries now. The members (and I) left Foxprints when Tracy started up the Lackadaisy forums.

The cat in the second panel is Ivy from Tracy Butler's Lackadaisy [link] and the guy in the third is Cousin Mumbles from the Addams Family cartoon (who I can't seem to find a picture of on the net) And yeah, I was just drawing scribbles and Number 5 just popped in there. Of course, all of these are just people dressed up as these guys. References are fun.

ya funny story about the Smurf. He was originally in front of Mort and facing the other direction. And since I drew Ivy in a different spot on the paper (the one that I actually had next to Mort didn't look too good) I didn't know there was anything wrong. Turns out that it looked like the Smurf was looking at her boobs. That was really distracting, so I cut him out and finished Mort in Photoshop and put Lecher Smurf in the background a bit.
