Description Yeah, no effort. I call it conceptual, but really I was just messing around on the wacom. Took me about 45 minutes, mostly 'cuz I was just playin' around with random things. It was gonna be a lot busier, but I decided I liked it more plain.

You guys don't know this yet, but I draw this robot a lot. His torso always says something different.

[and in case anyone might have been wondering, this is NOT ohNEST]

It is fantastic that you like it. And yes, it is very very simplistic. I was surprised so many people liked it. I'm almost certain it's the colors.

Thanks very much!

Is a translucent brownish-pink octopus ensnaring him, and that's why he needs saving?

...If so, AWESOME!

simple and effective.
i find the best art stems from creative boredom. a minimal palette high on contrast with much impact! i doubt that it would be as effective with clean cut lines. the messiness of this is what's so appealing.

i'm not sure what's making me look over and over again at this drawing!
gah! maybe that's why i'm so hooked.
in simple terms, this kicks ass 3576491564864797655x over!

I agree, some of my most creative stuff comes when I can't think of anything creative at all and I just sit down and murder a sheet of paper. Then, you know, get another one and draw stuff on it.

Thanks. Glad people are liking this one. Really, I'm kinda surprised.

Wha!? You serious!?

Man, wow. Thanks. I'm more than a bit surprised.

Seriously, did not, by any means, expect it to get that kinda reception, but awesome nonetheless.

Heh. Thanks. This design actually arose from a conversation with one of my friends years ago. He was trying to tell me about this flash video [or something] about robots, and it had a song that went to it. Something like "Robots are our friends, robots are our friends. THEY SOMETIMES HACK AND SLASH AND MAME!! But always make amends." I thought it was awesome, so I drew it. He said it looked a lot like the video...

So I dunno...

...

Man, I need to find that video.
