Description
I thought this would be an appropriate little picture to post, given that later today I will be leaving for China to spend three weeks there."Aloha" means "hello" or "goodbye" in colloquial English, an adaptation of the Hawaiian word that means a number of things (love, peace, et al).
My great-great-uncle first hybridized and cultivated this species of rose around WWII, and although it's not his most famous, it's still beautiful and adorns our back garden in the spring.
