I used my own hand for reference which might be why it looks realistic. I wanted to see how the shading was on my hand and apply it to this. It worked out well I think.

The hand is kinda freaky but just imagine if it actually looked like it was severed. Ewww.

All I can say is, wait till Halloween. There will definitely be an erie surprise for all to see. I'll call it "Shredder's Trophy"

I agree; it's awesome. Very dimensional, well-textured, and the scar looks nice

I'm not kidding at all when I say that I can almost FEEL this hand and take it in my own.

The thing is, that's an old piece to. I'd like to think I've gotten better since then although I haven't really done any realistic looking turtle pieces in a while.

One of these days I'll feel the urge to do one

For this hand, I used my own as reference so maybe that's why it looks as good as it does.

You should write a tutorial on coloring in Photoshop or something. You just rock.

Hey buddy!! Sorry for the late response but yes, I guess I could write a tutorial for some of the techniques I use but It's taken me years to get this far. It also helps that Photoshop is one of the easiest programs to learn. Well, I might rock in some respects but I've seen others that just blow my stuff away.
