Tom and Lena strolled through the bustling funfair, weaving between brightly lit stalls and the laughter of families and groups of friends. Lena, ever eager for attention, twirled in her newly purchased dirndl, her cheeks flushed with excitement. She had hoped her traditional Bavarian outfit would make her stand out, but as they walked, it became clear that dirndls were a common sight, blending into the festive sea of colors.
“I thought people would at least look at me," Lena pouted, crossing her arms. At just 1.58 meters, she was petite, and her plans for turning heads weren't quite panning out as she’d imagined. Tom chuckled, trying to lighten her mood, but she was clearly annoyed.
As they wandered, Tom spotted a massive thrill ride—a towering structure spinning riders through the air at dizzying speeds. He eagerly suggested they try it, but Lena shook her head, not a fan of intense rides. They decided to split up, Lena heading off on her own while Tom joined the queue.
After the ride, adrenaline still coursing through his veins, Tom took out his phone and texted Lena, “Where are you?” Her reply came swiftly, a cryptic, "I’m sure you’ll see me with ease."
Tom furrowed his brow, confused. Lena was always the one who struggled to stand out in a crowd, often getting lost in the sea of people because of her short height. He took a few steps forward, scanning the crowd, until something caught his eye.
There, standing confidently amid the throngs of people, was Lena—but not as she had been before. Tom's breath caught in his throat. She was now towering at 2.40 meters tall, her once-short frame now impossible to miss. Her dirndl, which once hugged her small form, now fit her giant frame perfectly, its vibrant colors standing out as she smirked down at him, her towering figure drawing countless gazes.
Tom stood in awe, knowing instantly what she had done. Lena had taken a growth serum, and now, with her newfound height, she was finally getting the attention she craved. She tilted her head, a playful glint in her eyes, her smirk growing wider.
“Well," Tom thought, "she got what she wanted."
