Planet Ripple- 13- Dismal — Description
I think this is the most depressingly colored page I've ever done. Absolutely, overwhelmingly dismal. I really wanted to capture the loneliness, as we follow the cable up to Minnow at the other end, and especially in panels three and five. That one where we're looking over Minnow's shoulder, and she turns the light off... it still hurts. I mean, Andrea was Minnow's adoptive mother, and we'll see some of the good times they had together in flashbacks down the line. She's a character who only appears posthumously, like a phantom looming over the comic. For now, I hope this scene has said enough about the two that it still hits hard even though we've only started getting to know them, and one of them is already gone.
