Yay, my first tutorial!
was wondering how I made my BG in my Sailor Blaze picture, so I put this together for her.
This basically covers some of my favorite ways to create a non-boring BG in Paint.NET.
If there is anything that you don't understand that you want me to make clear, comment and I'll try to help you.
*A basic knowledge of the Paint.NET interface is recommended*

On the Paint.NET that I used, the "spiral" effect (called "Twist") came with the program - it's found under the Effects -> Distort tab.
Are you talking about this, or a completely different effect entirely?
The pictures on the tutorial were made with effects that were installed with the program - no extra plugins were downloaded.

That makes sense - something probably happened between the time you uninstalled the program the first time and reinstalled it, but I can't say for sure, sorry...

Paint.NET is somewhat similar to Photoshop, except you just can't do as much.... =3
