Current pelt inventory - 100% recycled (from secondhand sources, subsistence hunters, or provided by customers).This is actually just a portion of what I have, but these are the most complete hides, which are capable for being hung from the wall.
The pelt hanger came courtesy of my dad, but is created using my own simple design. It's a piece of board cut to fit the length of my new room, with screws drilled halfway into the timber. It's then set into the wall with anchors drilled into the drywall since my room has no studs in the construction.
From left to right:
Wolf - Personal pelt. Fully mounted head for headdress.
Tails - For sale. Will be listed on Etsy.
Red Fox - Provided by customer. Made into headdress.
Coyote Capes - For customers. Will be made into taxidermied headdresses.
Mountain Lion - Personal pelt. Fully mounted head for headdress.
Deer - Sold to customer. Traditional headdress.
Brindle Coyote - To be sold. Will be traditional headdress.
Wolf - Reserved for customer. Traditional headdress.
Lynx - Personal pelt for now. Will be made into traditional headdress or fully-mounted one, depending on whether or not I can find a means to repair minor damage near ears.
Black Coyote - Former personal pelt. Will be for sale soon. Traditional headdress with thermoplastic shell backing.
Normal Coyote - Customer pelt. Traditional headdress.
Pine Marten - Boyfriend's pelts. Will eventually make something from them if I find time!
Sampson Cross Fox - Customer pelt. Will be traditional headdress.
Red Fox - Customer pelt. Will be traditional headdress.
Cinnamon Black Bear - Boyfriend's personal pelt. Fully mounted head for headdress.
ON THE BED:
Jaguar: Antique. Personal pelt. Too old to make into headdress.
Leopard: Antique. Personal pelt. Too old to make into headdress.
NOTE: I didn't kill any of these animals. If you don't like it, don't look.

How is it legal to have jaguar and leopard? That's poaching or something, unless they killed before ban and you acquired them.

Love this! I hope to have a collection of pelts someday. For now it's just my wolf, Wiccipi. ( I'm dixdy on Etsy by the way.) Wicippi is the wolf that was too old to make into a headdress.

I have many more pelts than pictured here now. I'll be moving soon to a new house with a shop so that I have more room!

I wish pelts grew on trees, if so I would be more of a collector. It just makes me sad that you have to take away a soul for it's skin. Not worth the price in my mind, but these are truly awe-inspiring.

You have an amazing collection of pelts, and I love what you do with them. Headdresses are a very neat way to give an animal a second life. Someday (hopefully soon) I'm going to have to commission you for a headdress

(Meh, I think when we're human, we need to feel sadness when we look at this pelts. And this is the only thing that prove your love for them)

I may not agree with hunting and farming animals for fur, but the things I own that are second hand are happy to be with me, because I can feel it. What's done has been done and they might as well be appreciated it as they are.

This is just my opinion. When something rots in the road, it doesn't replenish anything but a buzzard. My cat was hit in the road a few weeks ago, and his carcass was maimed by stray dogs, completely going to waste. Hear me out, at least I'm not shooting animals for the fun of it to throw on my wall.

I don't have to make art from them, you are right; I could just let the animals rot on the roadside, or wait for some hick to hang them up in a smoke-stained bar downtown. Because that would be SOOOOO much better than seeing them turned into functional and beautiful works of art which is created with spiritual intent. A+ for you logic skills on that one!
