My take on the monsters from Primal Rage - DiabloPrimal Rage is a versus fighting game developed and released by Atari Games to arcades in 1994. The game takes place in a post-apocalyptic version of Earth called "Urth". Players control one of seven large beasts that battle each other to determine the fate of the planet.
Diablo: The god of Evil and Destruction. Diablo resembles an Allosaurus (which I changed to a Carnotaurus) and the main antagonist of the game. The leader of the Destructive Beasts, this demonic dinosaur wishes to reduce Urth into a nightmarish, magma-filled hell, where he will indulge his desire to torment all living beings on the planet for all eternity. His graphic model is nearly identical to Sauron's, though he is rendered smaller and with a different color scheme. Diablo is quick on his feet and is an excellent distance fighter, but is somewhat weak in close range. His domain is the Inferno and his worshippers wear red clothes.

I always felt that Diablo would be better suited as a Carnotaurus, since the horns lend to a devilish appearance...but I had no way of knowing that Diablo was supposed to be an allosaurid.Β I always assumed that Diablo was merely a smaller T-rex than Sauron.

i want them to remake this game, not only so i can have a cool dinosaur game but also so i can play it and see what this game was actually like

This was my sister's favorite dinosaur and I hated it once she learned how to do the instant teleportation move, and had me pinned against a wall. x.x But, I learned very quickly to avoid the edges of the stage and not let her pin me as long as I could help it!

Thank you! Diablo in the game is just a clone of Sauron, but as a Carnotaurus the horns and profile make him different enough from a T-rex. That's why I went with that choice.

My plan was to do only the original characters. I know very little of the second game. It was never released I believe but you never know. If I get an itch to do more of these guys I might go in that direction.
