Teenage Rowdy Ruff Boys — Description
Gueeeeesssss WHOOOOOOOOO . . .

SHORT SUMMARY:
Girls done, now for the guys. Took over two years, due to it getting shelved for months on end over and over. Finally buckled down and did it. These dudes were jerks, but they had the potential to be such awesome characters. Really want a teenage PPG series. Awesome to get a reboot/re-imagining, but I would like to move the series on timeline wise . . .

LONG DESCRIPTION:
Not gonna be that long really. Already blabbed about this series in the artwork for the girls.

This took over two years. Yeah. Drawing got lost, then watched other shows, then did other stuff, then got a job, etc. You know, life. BUT its done now, so you can all favorite it or ignore it at your leisure.

Most was the same as the girls artpiece, only I didn't have as much inspiration for the outfits. I sorta just used the outfits I made for the girls, only made them more boyish and . . . you know, evil. And cooler. A LOT cooler, I have to say. I have to say, they pull this uniform look off better. I want their jackets. Like the ladies, there's slight variation in their looks too. Brick's buckles are gold, Boomer's silver, Butch's gunmetal. Butch is the talles/most muscular, while Boomer's small by comparison. Also Butch likes to show off his boots, while Boomer likes long, wide, shoe-hiding pants. Brick falls in a nice medium, only he likes his bling. Little gold chain there. May even retroactively give him an earring. Or Butch.

Because there was SO much black, I ended up having one of my outline layers glow faintly so you could make out the creases in the flat black parts. You know, to tell where one's torso ends and another's arm begins. End result is that the outline of each has a faint color-coding glow. And I think it rocks. Might do that in the future! . . . except that now that I look at it, after I resized it for Deviantart, I can't make out much of a glow at all unless I zoom in. Sigh . . .

Also took the background from their group screenshot, only I ran into a problem. Unlike with the girls, the dudes totally disappeared into the black and white, what with all the black in their outfits. So I had to sorta slap some grey in the background. I may do a piece with both guys and girls and an ACTUAL background later.

. . . So much potential for these characters. They never went there, but the potential still made them cool. And lets face it; who DIDN'T cheer whenever they showed up? Although I sorta felt sorry for Boomer; he often was the brunt of Butch and Brick's picking when they didn't have anyone else to bug. I once read a VERY good fanfic about these six kids as teenagers, and it was not only very well written but NAILED everyone's personality spot on. My only problem is the language. I suppose these three realistically wouldn't talk like nuns, but that doesn't mean I like reading the words. So I copied them all and edited them somewhat. Again, not going to complain because it was realistically done, I just had to make it so that I could read it without wincing. And despite that its still the BEST fanfic I've ever read. It could sell as a book. Cleaned up, it would make a very good plot-driven cartoon sequel too.

I like belts. And buckles. Way cool.

EDIT: Uh . . . noticed Boomer's shirt wasn't shaded, so had to redo a few things. Hopefully it didn't mess it up from the original that I had up here, but it may be centered SLIGHTLY differently too. My photoshop file was a lot wider and larger in size than this finished product. But hey, at least the shirt is shaded!
Also, gave Brick a glow effect. Because he was SUPPOSED to have it from the get-go; that's why he's doing that gesture with the finger and all.
