Pencils for Battle artist --> battleartist.deviantart.com (check it out, it contains fun and awesome artists...if u get a beer for urself then what more can u ask for
)This weeks challenge was Jessica Rabbit.
I thought about how to avoid just copying directly from the film, and then thought "hey -it'd be awesome trying 2 do a Michael Turner inspired version of it...just to see if i can, and how it'll turn out".
...and here it is (well the start of it hehe).
Finished ver. will come up as soon as i get around 2 throwing some colours onnit.
Do pleeeeaaaaaseeeeeee give some BRUTAL yet constructive criticism...i hungeeeer for it!

edit: So found out the recent interest surge it probably because of Sean Ellery -an AMAZING colourist
It's pretty funny, cause a bit over half a year ago i was sitting wanting to start doing digital stuff, and Sean's webpage [link] popped up --> he's got some great tutorials, high res pencil and inks and other awesome stuff, so i'm pretty big fan. Found him in here recently, and apparently he's posted that he'd like to colour this one!!!
I seriously feel like a fat kid dumped in the candy shop!!!

Hm, brutal criticism, lets see:
The proportions of the mic-hand aside, I would say that its posture is superb, looks very feminin.
Maybe its just me, but doesn't her face get abit too slim too fast?
But hey, these are minor details, the overall impressions just blows them away

Yeah, the hand is freakishly HUGE...i've tried diminishing it a bit in PS...but....yeah...well. hmm. (maybe she's got crab in some distant encestry...you kno, one tiny hand, and one HUGE
regarding the chin/face..someone else noticed that the neck-line is wrong --> makes her look almost masculine. I think that's whats making her chin look like its a bit dislocated haha.

haha yeah...heard that there's a lotta "trolls" out there (love that term), but fortunately *knock on wood* i've been lucky and met nothing but absolutely AMAzing people in here! In general been such a huge help and also inspiration. Without that i still wouldn't been able to even open photoshop haha.

Yeah, i'll upload some more pencils once they're finished. It's not so much michael turner style as the jessica rabbit, but need to get to the bottom of my to-do-list before starting new projects
