Description
Just finished up "Devil Said Bang" by Richard Kadrey, and I decided I REALLY needed to finish up some of my Sandman Slim inspired work.This is my interpretation of a Kissi, a race of demonic entities left over from when God first created the universe.
Kadrey's description gives their hues more of a omni-present blackish tone, and my minds eye drifts back and forth between that and the
rendition I've shown above. I'll more than likely do more accurate versions of these lovely characters, but for now I'm happy with the
overall take on the subject.

THANK U for doing artwork for this book, it is impossible to find! That being said, I think your kissi looks a bit like the aliens from district 9 but that's just me, and I'm happy with this anyway

Yeah, that whole insect/locust reference just wouldn't leave my brain. I've got to get started on some of the other concepts I had for those stories. They've been sitting on the back fires for far too long.

my particular favorite is Kill The Dead. Slim is an interesting character with massive literary potential, at the imagery of the stories is fantastic.
