Don't ever apologize for you environmental pieces. They're beautiful and teach the viewer some wild things! I love the way the light creeps out of the mountains and lands delicately on the the temple in the grass. The way the clouds roll over the mountains and diffuse the distance really adds to the scale and scenery. This piece really looks eastern inspired. I love how it captures this wonderfully Japanese atmosphere. It's lovely. Wonderful job! Fantastic piece! Well. Done!

*gets misty-eyed* Mists of Pandaria is my favorite expansion after Wrath of the Lich King! Also, getting my art compared to Blizzards amazing art is probably the best compliment I could get haha <3

On one hand I want to do more interesting things with these paintings but whenever I form out some shapes to begin with, it always ends up looking like a mountain-scape! I think it's because havesuc easy and attractive shapes and it's also easier to create depth with all the different layers of mountains ;w;

I do believe landscaping natural shapes is easier. But if you're tired of mountains, you can always try stormy seas! 8)
