CONGRATULATIONS! Your son is utterly precious- adorable. The picture is so striking. I love black and white film for images like this, there is something more profound about them without color. I especially like how the angle of the shot highlights the shapes, and curves of his face. Beautiful shot!

Thank you so much! It was really simple lighting too, I used the light from my laptop, it was soft enough, but cast enough light to act like a soft box. Perfect for what I wanted! usually you don't do this harsh of light on a baby, but I couldn't resist, it's my favorite setup. I am a big fan of black and white too, because it focuses more on composition and value. So yes, thank you so much for appreciating the shot!
