Yes, they're fighting. But on the inside of Jackle, I wanted it to appear to be a dark stage or galaxy thing. I'm sure Jackle will be just fine if he can bend space and time in his cape. 83

One idea was it was a story pitch and he'd be having them say "Damn" and "Cause we're Sonic Heroes!"..but then it changed into a darker idea, drawing from the cartoon Joker and a segment of Melody Time...then I thought it would flow better with NiGHTS and Reala...so..
