I love this!
It inspires me for a book I am writing that is almost in the release stage:
The echo of steady dripping cut short her thoughts. Her nose twitched at moisture and a hint of rot. The dribbling grew louder as they stepped into a broad juncture. Water drizzled from the vaulted ceiling above. Aaron slowly swept his lantern from left to right, revealing several passageways. Shadyia counted. Three, fourβno, five corridors led off in different directions. One ended after a few paces in steps leading up and another in steps going down. The remaining three continued into darkness.
Deresi groaned. βWell, now we know why itβs called a labyrinth. Which way?β
βI have no idea,β he replied, searching each path again with the lanternβs light.
Deresi clicked her tongue. βI thought you had eight hundred years of experiences with this sort of thing.β
βNot with this,β he said with no hint of affront in his voice. βPick a number between one and five.β
βTwo,β Deresi said.
He walked toward the second passage from the left, one that went straight.
βGreat,β Deresi said and shadowed him. βNow you can blame me if we die.β
Shadyia followed close and glanced up. The passage Deresi had chosen was shaped differently than the others they had seen. The corners were rounded, but the ceiling was flat. She doubled her pace to stay close to Aaron. Perhaps this part of the labyrinth was older than the others. If so, maybe they should go back andβ
The harsh scrape of metal on stone was her only warning before an incredible crash shook the passage. Shadyia dropped her lantern, pivoted on the balls of her feet and whipped her sword out of its sheath.
Bars blocked the passage behind them.

The lighting and attention to detail in this scene is amazing. The depth of field and silvery reflections off the water makes the scene appear remarkably 3 dimensional.

Awsome! I'm sucker for hidden places, such as dungeons. Perspective is really neat and position of lights is perfect. Is must have taken you some time to plan out a place like that
