I though on Lightning since (literally) throws rose petals everywhere when she fights with help of Odin, also many people draw her with a rose and identify her with roses ^^

I don't think so, at least not in this comic. The only times they drew roses it was because of Firion and Cloud saying "okay, I'll buy one" surrounded by pika-pika around him, in a previous comic.
'cause of the quote "You...remind me of a friend." and this looks more like a continue to that.
Plus she(or he?) doesn't draw the girls much, but haven't seen lightning

Aaaand nope, roses aren't exclusive to Lightning, since the first was Firion who talks about them the whole time. He pops up to my mind more often than Lightning, because Toriyama who has a big frikking crush on her, compares her to roses since she is so pretty. He has a serious obsession with Lightning....
