Freddy and Batty from 100% Wolf: Legend of the Moonstone.
Batty came to force Freddy to study last night, because she knows he would do anything and everything else unless she made him. They ended up falling asleep, Freddy's head fell back onto his bed and left his mouth open cartoony style, and Batty is leaning his side holding one of her hair's poofy pigtails to use as a pillow so her head doesn't have to rest on Freddy's boney shoulder.
I do pair Batty and Freddy, but not in the truly romantically involved sense. In the show they're pretty clearly shown to almost never be apart from each other if they have a choice; pretty obviously not "in love" , but they're also decently past the horizon of only being close friends. They just both know they're never going to be separated from each other.
