Echoes from the Rim pg. 46 — Description

First Page Chapter Start

I said I wouldn't take as long to post the next page yet here we are 2 months later whoops, time got away from me. Here you go anyway.

I've been waiting a long time to show this dragon! Very pleased with how it turned out visually. The valley dragon Sechuam appears at night, snaking through the valleys, presumedly as a watchful guardian, and has done this for thousands upon thousands of years. Jin likes to stay up sometimes to watch the sights. More dragon lore on the next page.

also this lighting was super tricky but super fun, as I had to transition from purple to green lighting between 6 panels. 2 3d lighting set ups, opacity filtering over each panel, 2 different sets of character highlights and 6 slight changes to the colors of the non yellow highlights per panel and 6 paintovers of each backdrop later it's finally done, and it was very worth it. I'm also a huge sucker for green lighting in anything. Enjoy!
