With Guardians of the Galaxy recent release, and it being awesome! I wanted to post this Rocket Raccoon that I was able to work on and sculpt for Disney Infinity 2.0. I love working with an amazing Art Department to make this possible.Related content

I've worked on a few Figures for Infinity 2.0, and it has been a dream. I think I got it because I was just in the right place at the right time with the right portfolio.

I am still amazed that you are the artist behind some of the new Disney Infinity Characters. Wow! It feels almost like I'm getting a glimpse of a "behind the scenes" look even though I'm not entirely aware of the process involved. Great work! Loved the character in the film. Having done some searching I think this is my hands down favorite statue. I may need to buy this when it comes out just for the figure. Good work!

I really wish you people could implement these designs for an animated series for the guardians.
I saw some art for a cartoon and frankly it looks like crap.
The designs the color are just so washed out an unappealing but I find this design of Rocket as well as the rest are far superior and feel not utilizing them is a real unfortunate choice on the part of Disney/Marvel.
Still top notch to you and the team, you guys did a cracker jack job.
Please pass along my comment to hire ups because they really should listen to the voice of the people for their products not assume everyone wants the marvel animated shlock they have dealt out recently.

It honestly seems like you look at this style right?
It begs... BEGS to be animated.
Honestly from a marketing standpoint wouldn't it be more efficient for this company to use THIS STYLE in a cartoon that will help sell THIS product?
Right?
No seriously.
Putting aside how I find the Marvel cartoons unsatisfying in story, animation and art.
I am thinking lets just look at this from a business point of view.
You got this style, you got a figurine SET coming out... wouldn't it be ideal to use this art style in a cartoon to promote it?
It would help with the marketing.

Christ it seems like so many superhero cartoons are void of vibrancy colors and a fun tone.
I believe Walt Disney's old creed of "you can be fun but dramatic when need be to a child.".
It's Guardians of the Galaxy I am not a huge fan but come on there is a racoon... it talks.
No one is taking it so super serious.
Dark colors which is what the cartoons do makes it feel lack luster it lacks the JOY that is brought with the medium. Not everything needs to feel like the tone of Watchmen.
If you do spread my word along I appreciate it.
I am not some angry fan boy.
I am a man who generally believes in high level standards.
I've had desires for certain shows to be created, hell I got an outline for a Squirrel Girl cartoon I would love to pitch but have no idea how to get it to any one important to even notice it.
I jsut want better quality content.
Marvel is owning the movies over DC but their animated shows are terrible.
We had Spectacular Spider-Man a show that had adult tones but was also fun, vibrant and full of life.
Now we got Ultimate Spider-Man who acts more like Deadpool.
The point is there needs to be quality control.
If my words help to realize that this style is more ideal and they actually go for it that would be phenomenal because we need some superhero cartoons that aren't vapid and depressing.

I have watch Ultimate Spider-Man, Agents of SMASH Avengers Assemble and honestly these are crap.
agents of Smash is the least crappy.
Frankly the color pallet is nauseating, the animation subpar and the writing some of the worse. Especially in Spider-Man.
It's funny that there are kid versions of Iron Fist and Luke Cage when we could have had Squirrel Girl and Speedball or any other number of kid heroes to fill in the gap.
But instead take the tough guy from Harlem and the Kung FU master and youth-a-nize them.
It's such bad form.
These are really some of the worse shows I have seen that are hero themed.
I really would expect better by this point especially with Disney in the toybox now.
I honestly feel a Guardians of the Galaxy cartoon can be great if they move away completely from what the have been doing.
Something with brighter colors would be ideal and much better writing.
Honestly see if Bruce Timm is available or Greg Wiseman.
I understand Bruce left WB so snatch him and Paul Dini and put them to work.
Guardians can be an epic to that of Justice League Unlimited if Marvel and Disney let them.
