Description
Turboverse RWBY: The Foxwoman takes places 4 weeks after Spider-Man Clone-Mania: Grimmified and Xiao Long: Shadows. This serves as a prequal to Turboverse RWBY Volume 4, it explores the more animalistic and beast-like creatures of heroes and villains and this story pre-dates this. Plus the story is like sort of a parody of the 2010 remake of The Wolfman.
They survived... Through their Children...
After Salem nearly mauled to death by original beasts, she launched a campaign to erase every trace of them. The survivors realized they could not win a direct war and instead hid within human society. By blending in as ordinary humans and Faunus, they were able to repopulate in secret, causing the species to grow in the shadows for generations. Because the ability to transform is often tied to Heritage, the genetic code for these transformations remained present in the bloodlines of modern Huntsmen and Huntresses.
Origins of the Beast
The ability to become a Were-Creature manifests in four primary ways:
Heritage: Passed down through bloodlines, specifically the Schnee bloodlines.
Semblance: A character's soul-based power manifests physically as an animal form (e.g., Jaune Arc as a lion, Pyrrha Nikos as a fox).
Infection/Magic: Resulting from ancient curses or being bitten/scratched by another creature.
Technological: Synthetic beings or androids can become Wire-Bots through nanobot injections or viral programming.
Realizing the truth
The Blue Veracity: Her transformation is contrast with her Wicked Witch bloodline, often marked by her skin turning a blue veracity as she taps into that power.
Weiss Schnee (Heritage): Her abilities are passed down through her bloodline. In this AU, the Schnee family's history is tied to ancient Were-Creatures, with the genetic code for transformation being an ancestral trait that survives through generations.
Dormant DNA: Many of their ancestors hid within human society to repopulate after Salem's purge. This left dormant ancestral genetic codes within the bloodstreams of many modern Huntsmen and Huntresses. This dormant gene in Weiss was past down from her father's side of the family, meaning both her Great-Grandfather and of course her rotten father are also Were-Creatures... And on Weiss's 18 birthday, she became one herself...
Not completely human
On her 18th birthday, emotional stress triggers her heritage, causing her to transform within her room just before Ruby and Winter could check upon her. While Weiss can accept her Ice Witch bloodline from her mother side however another part of her bloodline, coming from her father will be hard to swallow, given info from her mother and of course surviving records of Were-Creature in history books, and experienced this on herself, that might also affect her view on her Witch bloodline, meaning she wasn't even human to begin, viewing herself as a hybrid on two things people might hold negative views on...
The Awakening of the Foxwoman...
(2010 Wolfman theme intensifies)
In this AU, Weiss discovers that she possesses dormant Were-Fox DNA, an ancestral trait passed down through the Schnee bloodline. This genetic code remained inactive for centuries as her ancestors hid within human society to survive Salem’s purge.
The Trigger: Her transformation is sparked by extreme emotional stress on her 18th birthday, after a heated arguments between her and her family right around Weiss’s friends too.
Painless Transition: Because she was born with this DNA rather than being bitten, her transformation is not pain-inducing, unlike those who are infected by bite or gained by Semblance.
Family and Support Systems
The story emphasizes Weiss’s internal struggle and the varying ways her family reacts to her new identity:
The Siblings: Winter and Whitley attempt to be better siblings by helping Weiss manage and control her fox form.
The Mother: Their mother, Willow, is also involved in this journey, as the heritage is a shared family legacy.
The "Idiot": Weiss’s relationship with Neptune Vasilias is a central emotional pillar; she considers him "her idiot" and finds comfort in their connection during her transition.
Her friends: Weiss's close sisterhood with Ruby, Yang, and Blake, even other Huntsmen and Huntreses members later support and help deal with this.
Broader Lore: Dormant Markers
Suviving Info explains that many modern Huntsmen and Huntresses will carry these "sleeping" traits until the right moment it comes... While Weiss’s was triggered by stress, others (like Ruby and Yang) had their traits activated by specific catalysts like childhood infections. If someone is born a werewolf or any other Were-Creature, his or her transformation won't be pain inducing unlike others who are bitten.
The Honest Bloodline
Within my RWBY AUA, Weiss’s perspective on her Were-Fox form is a complex evolution, but there is strong evidence that she eventually views it as a more honest reflection of the Schnee heritage than the cold, corporate persona forced upon her by her father.
Ancestral Truth: The Schnee Were-Fox DNA is an ancient trait that her ancestors were forced to hide to survive Salem’s purge. By embracing the fox, Weiss is reconnecting with a part of her history that predates the SDC's corruption.
The Wicked Witch Connection: Her transformation is tied to the Wicked Witch bloodline from her mother. While Jacques Schnee tried to mold the family into perfect, sterile statues, the fox and witch form is loud, primal, and magically blue, making it a direct rebellion against her father's control.
Iceberg
The major part of this story is the continuing ship between Neptune Vasilias and Weiss Schnee fully canonized within this version since my version of Volume 2 since it started from Volume 1. This ship is not as popular as a lot of Weiss's other ships and is even less popular than the ship between Sun and Neptune, Sea Monkeys. This is mainly due to Neptune being viewed as not as developed for Weiss. However, this ship had a fairly large amount of popularity during Volume 2 when Weiss and Neptune interacted the most. Despite losing popularity with every year some people are hopeful that it will resurface because of the growing possibility of Neptune's return to the show as a major character.
