Yeah their really cool. With all the new laws coming into effect though not sure if we are gonna be banned from keeping them. Yeah its a worring time.

Yeah the European Union is currently deciding on which species to put on a black list of animals that you wont be allowed to keep anymore. Its supposed to be decided later this year and then it will be down to the government how it is put into practice in each country (Im in the UK).
Animal rights groups like the Animal Protection Agency is trying to push for a complete ban on keeping exotics and keep putting false horror stories into the press to get people on their side.
It all started over here because of the Burmese getting into the Everglades in America. If america does something the rest of the world seems to want to follow along like sheep and they have just added 4 snakes with more to come to the Lacey Act. This stops them from being moved across state lines, so breeders cant ship out there stock to buyers.
So later this year it could be made illegal to keep retics and who knows what else here in the UK and across europe
