WHOO CHEAP BACKGROUNDS. there are a lot more pages to do and i was so completely bored of colouring backgrounds.
best panels: the last two, meaning the two headshots of Marcus and Niko respectively. i adore backlighting. One day i will make an entire comic where the hero is only ever backlit, because it's sexier that way.
ANYWAY. Niko comes from an inland city - he never learned why it's a bad idea to drip blood in catshark-infested waters. But then again, he was never the brightest candle in the room.
the song he's singing is one of his favourites: 'Time' by Tom Waits.
Marcus has black eyes here as opposed to yellow because he's gone into a feeding frenzy.
