Very cool thing! There is a lot going on, but the colors make it look quite calm

thanks, and i'm glad you like this; i hope i wasn't a dick in the comments of your work - in this fractal by Pasternak you can see that the basic pattern repeats at many scales, which he did with with the L-system program Structure Synth structuresynth.sourceforge.net⦠and it's direct (raw) output from the rendering program Indigo Renderer (except for the credit text)
by defining the structure in terms of a repeating pattern (the L-system), this is truly a fractal structure that is limited only by the amount of memory that we can throw at the creation of the actual geometry data, and the resolution of the image rendered. (plus all the data structures a 3D renderer needs)

Yeah, but I meant it in another way: it really makes big fun if you have the possibility to use some great renderer. And I'm currently not sure were to place the focus (integrate the renderer - "sunflow" in my case - or create a structure which can be easily processed by most of the state-of-the-art products).

nearly... i should have used lens shift instead of a narrow FOV, i realised after. indigo doesn't actually support an isometric cam yet, it's on the todo list tho
