A quickly made chain tutorial just to give you a basic idea how I draw my chains. This is to give you a basic idea, i expect you to spend more time making good quality work, not rushed rainbow rectangles.

1. Map out where you want them to go.

2. I start with the center links, and make nice straight same sized rectangles.

3. Connect them. Use nice straight lines. I use a different color or I get confused, but if you’re smarter than me you combine step 3 and four and keep yourself organized.

4. Make nice same sized rectangles to cover the gap. These are the other links, so they should start and end near the center of each central link, and should be straight and even. always leave room for the next link.

5. Your finishes result won’t look like it was drawn by a 5 year old, but here is mine. this tutorial took less than 10 minutes to make, I typically spend a good half hour making chains straight and pretty. I am lying, I avoid chains like the plague.
