Immediately attractive, accessible 'fine art' abstract . Reminded me of this [link] , just a litttle .

you give a choise. to pick a door. interesting.
you create a challenge to viewer. not only visual riddle, but mental also.

did you hide what the study was for?
why?
you are curious person.
it already feels finished to me. or a first phase to another. it is almost indecently morbid. i can't explain. just how i read it.

Again, amazing ! The texture reminds of floating gaze or a coat of snow, frail and yet so intense.

Indeed...frail but intense...thank you!

As I more look at it I want to touch it - the red is binding sight and you can feel its burn.

Masterful capture of emotions.

Laurazee [2008-03-31 07:18:08 +0000 UTC]

Ouch! I can already feel it on my knee. How much of a bigger canvas will you go? Be interesting to see if you can mimic some pore-like texture (as you have already done) in the surrounding white.

lien In reply to Laurazee [2008-04-06 12:20:50 +0000 UTC]

I'm pretty confident I could create the same effect, funds prevent it (as ever) but I would like to do something based on this about 4 or 5 feet wide! Thanks a lot for the comment.

Can't wait to see how it develops on the larger scale. It already stands tall as it is. very bold.

Stay with it.

Birgit-Zartl-Art [2008-03-30 18:26:26 +0000 UTC]

the red parts remind me of a shroud, probably the Shroud of Turin, but I have no idea why
one thing is the texture, like woven... although the title means something different....
