Yes, I meant Spike. What does he have to do be counted with the rest of his friends? Become a pony? Get a sex change so he's a mare? Earn an Element of Harmony that probably doesn't exist.
Also, being a sidekick doesn't mean being inferior. And that's even if he is a sidekick.
