District 9 Prawn Assault Rifle — Description
The Prawn assault rifle from District 9, a movie that I’m a bit of a fan of, and I do hope that we do eventually see the sequel the ending leaves such a giant hook for (and that said sequel, if it ever surfaces, isn’t just a cop-out). This weapon was aesthetically and functionally my favorite of all the alien weapons in the movie. Yeah, some of you might go for the lightning gun or that…concussion, launcher, thing, but I’ve always been more partial to more conventional weaponry.

With that said, I have never been satisfied with how this bloody thing turned out, but it was such a time consuming and detail intensive build that I just couldn’t summon the willpower to go back and rework it or delete it. It’s been sitting in my computer for a couple of years now, and every time I passed through the folders and saw the thumbnail I had a mental debate as to whether the dumb thing was worth uploading. Have any of you had that kind of problem with your work before? It sucks!

I finally said “frag it,” you guys might as well see that I gave it a shot.
