The most common pattern of Imperial plasma gun, used by the Space Marines. Like all plasma weapons, it possesses exceptional destructive power, but at the cost of instability, which could cause the weapon to blow up in your face.

Personally, I'll take the good old fashioned boltgun any day of the week.
