Oh man that last scene was so epic. I find it silly that Hiccup only lost half of his leg. lol. I thought his body would be scorched or something worse. I know Toothless got to him and shielded him, but still.

Yeah, the wound doesn't make too much sense tbh, but it makes it cool, so I ain't complaining!

Hard to believe I haven't seen this picture up until now. All these little fanarts are buried in the archives of dA, you type "how to train your dragon" and a whole heap of stuff pops up; I'm glad I saw this
When I look at this the word that comes to mind for me is "power", not just from the giant Red Death, but from Hiccup and Toothless.

This is absolutely stunning. You did a fantastic job in capturing the tone of the scene-the darkness of the colors and the way that it's all drawn contributes to the atmosphere, and it doesn't give anything too distracting to look at. I love how you are immediately drawn to the brave look on Hiccup's face, and the equally brave look on Toothless's. Seriously, this is completely amazing. Why you aren't working at DreamWorks or Disney or Pixar or some huge animation company already. You're amazing!
