You are correct. With my take on these pretty iconic characters I'm badly attempting to change up the personalities of them. Velma is no longer the innocent nerd girl, but rather a fully active and experienced woman who is also a nerd. I'm kinda thinking her mom and dad are hippies and encouraged thier baby to soak up life. Shaggy is a very intelligent dude whom really likes his pot and is more or less an artist with a camera and other nerdy things. His skidishness is a lot less and with Velma he's more manly. Daph is the hot innocent that while she's see a few things is not as sexually awake as the rest. All she knew about sex was mostly the stuff she accidentally saw her mother doing once or twice and is attempting to kinda keep up with Velma. Fred, who I don't use as much is very gay and can only perform with Shaggy present. As he has a serious crush on shaggy. But as I'm also attempting to keep them in the 1970's homosexuality was a subject not often discussed.
