Description
So for Fanime, I went as the Blue Pyro from TF2 Wasn't originally going to do it, but I told my friend "Fine, if you can find me a gas mask and help make the gun I'll do it." Kinda surprised at how well it turned out in the end, and I had a lot of fun Though it was freaking WARM. You can kinda seen my mask fogging up here. At the midday gathering I could only see out of one side.

We originally had almost the full group, but people started backing out in droves, so in the end our team BLU consisted of a Scout, Sniper, and a Heavy. If you went on Saturday you might have seen us walking around. If you got pictures of me or any of the rest of my group we would love to see them

Mask: Army Surplus store. We had to spray paint it black, but it started flaking off, so every time I put it on I ended up with little black flecks all over my face. I bought a balaclava to cover the back of my head but strangely enough it was only after I put that on with the mask did I really get claustrophobic, so I ended up not wearing it.
Jumpsuit: Ebay. Hemmed the pants myself. *proud*
Gun: My friend who was the Heavy helped me make this. (And by "helped" I mean I bought the stuff and handed them to him when he needed them.) PVC pipe, caulk gun, cardboard, shower cord thing that my friend found in his garage, plastic jar, what was once a jar of peanuts, spray paint, duct tape.
Gas tank: Soda bottles + duct tape
Grenades: Soda cans + duct tape.
Pouch: My friend's deck box + duct tape.
Gloves: Home Depot + duct tape (seeing the trend?)
Boots: I had them.
