use colour range for something with only one colour

Hmmm... ive found that a better way is to go in with the background eraser tool, then cleaning it up with the normal eraser tool, allways gets me nice clean whatevers... try it out some time.

Well you way is fine, if it isnt a complex image. What if you wanted to extract a photo?

brush over whatever you don't want to extract...
