Title was inspired by Mulan, in case that wasn't obvious.I can't do fire to save my life. And I didn't have a reference for the wudai sash's color, so I had to go by memory. And I've got to learn to stop forgetting her lips!
Backgrounds are my worst enemy, though I have been getting a little better...I guess...

I would have, cuz it's worked before.[link] full of me almost abusing the smudge tool.) But I don't have the smudge tool anymore. Or Photoshop, regrettably. I had been using a free trial that glitched and let me keep it for almost a year, but I'm using Paint Tool SAI now, and I don't have a smudge tool on it.

Yeah, I'm mostly self taught. Observing others was always really helpful, and practicing is definitely a big one.
