The Moulin Rouge! The traditional postcard photo. While this is a must see landmark in Paris, all of Pigalle is a great visit. I've not seen a larger collection of nudy bars, sex shops, peep shows, cabarets, and XXX theatres on one street. This in itself isn't that impressive. It's the fact that the area is clean, very pretty, families live in the area and it's at the base of Montmarte in the shadow of Sacre Coeur, one of the pretties churches in Paris.
