My best work:]Completely free interpretation of Watains song, (highlighted quotes) with "black Sun" in form of perverted, mishapen Ra (egyptian Sun God).
And "elected one" :chosen of the snakes" is actually... on a "way" formed by them. Exalted, risen. The key is modified Watain's logo

To me, what this describes is the fact that, in our world, unfortunately, cruelty is rewarded. That's mostly just my first impression, though.

Yes I've read the Egyptian mythology once.. But still I don't think it would fit here. The song specificly mentions the "Black Sun" so I wanted to draw something directly related to Sun, but in disfigured, fallen form.

ah... the beauty about one's 'best work' is that several months after its creation, they may gaze upon it, and wonder how they could have possibly created something so terrible... XD
I am not at all saying this is terrible (I quite like it!), but in time, it is likely that you will.

Hmm That's true but I still like some of my old works. This happens rarely but under influence of strong emotions it is possible to create stuff which is much better than most of my 'normal' works from that time.

yes, I do know what you mean, I am still rather fond of the first arboreal creature I ever drew, which was also the first to make use of that 'box' compisition I should really start using again...
most of teh time however, old work fills my eyes with nothing but scorn! XD

No, unfortunately not..
And about the "old works" I do not know, whether you ever had the same feeling.. It's hard to describe. Almost like my thoughts during drawing some creature were "recorded" on a drawing. Looking at my works, even these older I can remember what I was thinking while making it etc..

yes! I always get that feeling... I'll be looking at a drawing I had compleetly forgotten about and be able to remember the events of the day that I was drawing it, and be able to recall my basic thought process for the drawing itself... it is rather like opening a file on a omputer (the drawing) and retreving date (the memories)... indeed, it is quite a cool feeling!
