Description
Colored version of this Spawn piece. Done in PS CC. Blurred the chains to simulate movement. Added flats, shading, and effects for the glow and the shine. Made the background completely in PS. I knew I wanted to make it seem like some level of hell or similar. The idea for the flames/lava came during the creation of the background. I wasn't really sure how I was going to do it. For real though, I was wondering if this would turn out to be as I hoped and I had some pleasant surprises, but I'm always humbled when I see the other interpretations of this character and start to second-guess. But I'm glad it has been enjoyed. I wanted to make sure what I didn't get with the lines, I made up for with the colors/lighting. As usual, thanks for noticing all the little details that I wonder if anyone else pays attention to. Maybe so, but you always point them out. I appreciate that. As always, I'm still trying to get my technique down to a science, and hoping to do a little better with each piece.

That was cool. Thanks. It would be cool to see a live-action of their battle. Still not sure who I would give the advantage to. Kratos has defeated gods. And Spawn's power is limited, but he has so many cool abilities. I think it would just depend on the day.
