Based on the default theme to Candra OS www.candraos.tk/Donations are appreciated and help to make it possible to continue theming, Thank You for your support!
Unity-Desktop theme. Using gtk 3.16.
INCLUDES
- Light Gtk3 theme with matching Gtk2 theme
- Dark Gtk3 theme with matching Gtk2 theme
- Software-Center-Themes
- Metacity Themes
REQUIREMENTS
- Gtk-3.16
- gnome-themes-standard-3.16
- pixbuf-engine or the gtk(2)-engines package
- gtk-engine-murrine
INSTALL
- Ubuntu 15.10/15.04
- sudo add-apt-repository ppa:noobslab/themes
- sudo apt-get update
- sudo apt-get install candra-unity-themes
Ubuntu Software-Center
- Backup the original folder and name it 'software-center-backup'
- sudo cp -a /usr/share/software-center /usr/share/software-center.backup
- Install This assumes that Candra-themes are installed to /usr/share/themes:
- For Candra-Theme-Unity, do the following:
- sudo cp /usr/share/themes/Candra-Theme-Unity/Software-Center/softwarecenter.css /usr/share/software-center/ui/gtk3/css/softwarecenter.css && sudo cp /usr/share/themes/Candra-Theme-Unity/Software-Center/stipple.png /usr/share/software-center/ui/gtk3/art/stipple.png
- For Candra-Theme-Dark-Unity, do the following:
- sudo cp /usr/share/themes/Candra-Theme-Dark-Unity/Software-Center/softwarecenter.css /usr/share/software-center/ui/gtk3/css/softwarecenter.css && sudo cp /usr/share/themes/Candra-Theme-Dark-Unity/Software-Center/stipple.png /usr/share/software-center/ui/gtk3/art/stipple.png
- Start/Restart software-center To Revert Changes
- sudo rm -r /usr/share/software-center && mv /usr/share/software-center.backup /usr/share/software-center

Tested Candra on Ubuntu 15.10. Looks pretty neat! The flat style of Candra is a departure from your previous themes Delorean and Dorian. However, I have one request: Since this is Candra specialized for Unity, can you include more Unity specific theming for stuff like Launcher and Force Quit Window? Here's the link to Unity Theming Guide . Looking forward to see a Unity port of Candra 3.18 for Ubuntu 16.04LTS "Xenial Xerus"!

I went ahead an added the Launcher and Force Quit Window to the theme. Im still not sure about how happy I am with them. I don't use Ubuntu so it makes it hard to theme its specific needs( and it has sooooo many)!

Tested the new updated theme. The new launcher buttons are cool! The force quit dialog is now themed too. However, I found 2 minor problems:
- The Force Quit Dialog's close button isn't loading coz the asset symlinks sheet_style_closed_focused.svg , sheet_style_closed_focused_prelight.svg and sheet_style_closed_focused_pressed.svg are broken. I replaced the absolute symlinks with relative ones and then it worked
- The launcher glows launcher_icon_glow_62.svg and launcher_icon_glow_200.svg are strange! They make Unity look glitched.
Even though Unity doesn't support CSD Headerbars yet, I tested Candra themes with headerbars forced in Unity. I was surprised they looked fine coz most other themes get black borders and other glitches with headerbars on Unity! Thanx again 4 the effort you put in making this wonderful theme
