Description

Touch is up close and personal, important for learning, development, establishing and defining relationships.  For example, right now my cat is  demanding I pet her, to remind me that I’m her slave. I think zoos and aquariums use it (with obvious safety precautions) to make the animals real, and hopefully living things to care about.  I don’t go often, but frequently I observe kids displaying behavior like in this image. However, in the ever increasing digital world  it seems like there’s less and less touch in general, and the art world in particular.
