That's very cool Looks very organic and expressive. Love how he looks up, and how the chest area almost looks a bit like a broken stone or tree, from which the neck and head arise. Really well done

We'll have ta get some time at Harcourt and um...shoot the clay...no wait that's shooting...um...sling the clay. They have models there and do just drop in sculpting..whaddya say eh eh?

I think the shadow on the nose gets emphasized when you squint and it totally channels the spirit of Karl Malden!

Thanks...I was very pleased with how it turned out. I was also pretty happy with the base.. I was shooting for something more organic..so many busts just end with the neck and a bit of shoulders plopped on a square.. i wanted it to feel like it was part of the base.
